Try out a completely different game that happens to use Magic the Gathering cards/mechanics. Forgetful Fish is a fan made subgame that has the players fight in a 1v1 game where they share a library and graveyard, in which they are constantly fighting for control of it, with plenty of top deck manipulation, such as Memory Lapse and Predict. The eponymous Dandân is a 4/1 fish and the only method of defeating your opponent! Rhystic Studies has an amazing video, I recommend a watch. This isn't a MTG Format but more of a 2 player card game that uses MTG cards, the shared decks (and variations of,) will be provided for use on the night. Draft is a format of MTG where you select cards from booster packs to construct your deck and then battle those decks (1v1). Cost of entry covers these packs and prizes, you keep all the cards you drafted afterwards. Please arrive before the draft fire time so we can get the most games in.
